Chris Jericho (c) vs. Bandido for the Ring of Honor world title took place at AEW Dynasty 2025. Here are the highlights…

* Members of Bandido’s family were watching at ringside.

* Jericho immediately hit the Codebreaker, but Bandido managed to kick out. Jericho continued to deliver offense, but Bandido used his speed to gain the upper hand. Bandido held Jericho in a 60-second delayed vertical suplex. Jericho managed to recover and gave Bandido a powerbomb off the apron to the ringside floor.

* Bandido was able to make a comeback but couldn’t put Jericho away with a frog splash. Bandido came off the top rope again, but Jericho countered with a Codebreaker. Jericho tried to win by putting his feet on the ropes but was unsuccessful. Jericho then applied the Walls of Jericho submission, but Bandido reached the ropes.

* Bryan Keith tried to interfere but was stopped by Gravity. While the referee was distracted, Jericho hit Bandido with a baseball bat to win the match. However, Bandido’s family pointed out the baseball bat, and the referee restarted the match. Bandido then pinned Jericho with the 21 Plex to capture the title. After the match, Bandido celebrated with his family.
