Chelsea Green vs. Michin to crown the first women’s United States champion took place at the WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 14th 2024. Here are the highlights…

* With the referee distracted, Piper Niven interfered early in the match to give Chelsea the advantage. After the break, Michin was able to counter the Rough Ryder. Michin gave Chelsea multiple German Suplexes followed by a Tornado DDT. Chelsea was finally able to hit the Rough Ryder but Michin kicked out.

* Michin regained the upper hand and took out Piper with her “eat the feet” finisher on the outside. Back in the ring, Michin went for the cover on Chelsea but Chelsea got her foot on the rope. Piper covered and provided another distraction which allowed Chelsea to win the title with the un-pretty-her.

* After the match, Smackdown General Manager Nick Aldis presented Chelsea with the title. Piper lifted Chelsea on her shoulder as pyro went off.
