Results of Britt Baker vs. Ruby Soho at AEW Double or Nothing 2022

Britt Baker vs. Ruby Soho in the women’s Owen Hart tournament final took place at AEW Double or Nothing 2022. Here are the highlights…

* Rich Ward of Fozzy played guitar for Baker’s entrance. Baker had Jamie Hayter and Rebel to the back. Rancid performed Soho to the ring. Soho had Owen’s “it’s time 4 a change” phrase on her ring jacket. The were loud dueling chants as the match started.

* The match quickly went to the outside and Soho hit a dropkick off the apron but was selling the impact of landing on the floor. Baker grabbed the upper hand and suplexed Soho on the floor.

* Baker worked over Soho for awhile but Soho was able to come back and hit a superplex. Soho was still hurting and Baker started trash talking. The two traded blows and Ruby got the upper hand. Ruby hit a senton but Baker kicked out.

* Baker came back with a curb stomp but Soho kicked out. Baker went for the lockjaw submission but Soho escaped and then hit the no future kick. Soho put on the sharpshooter in tribute to Owen but Baker got to the rope.

* Baker ended up reversing a victory roll to win the match. Baker showed respect to Soho afterwards.

* Baker and Adam Cole kissed on the stage. Tony Schiavone introduced Martha Hart for the post-match ceremony. The crowd chanted “Thank you Martha” and she thanked the fans. Martha presented titles to Baker and Cole as well as the trophy.
