Results of Blood and Guts steel cage match from the July 19th 2024 edition of AEW Dynamite

In the main event of the July 24th 2024 AEW Dynamite, Team Elite (The Young Bucks, Kazuchika Okada, Jack Perry and “Hangman” Adam Page) faced Team AEW (Swerve Strickland, The Acclaimed, Darby Allin and Mark Briscoe) in the Blood and Guts steel cage match.

Weapons in the match included Darby’s skatebaord with thumbtacks, a rainmaker sign, barbed wire boards, thumb tacks, and staple guns. Page didn’t appear as the last entrant for his team but when Swerve appeared, he was just by Page from behind on the ramp. Page then handcuffed Swerve outside of the cage and hit him with the world title. Matthew Jackson ordered Page to get in the ring or he would be fired. Page entered the cage and the match “officially” started.

After hitting Brandon Cutler with a guitar, Jeff Jarrett along with Billy Gunn and Prince Nana freed Swerve from the handcuffs. Swerve entered through the cage to even the odds for his team. Swerve went at it with Page. Multiple staple guns were used on Swerve but he laughed and fought off The Elite.

There were several big spots involving people being put through tables. Perry and Matthew were handcuffed to the cage and after Darby threatened to set Perry on fire, Matthew gave up and Team AEW were declared the winners.
