Results of Blackpool Combat Club vs. The Elite at AEW/NJPW Forbidden Door 2023

Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta, and Claudio Castagnoli), Konosuke Takeshita, and Shota Umino vs. The Elite (“Hangman” Adam Page, Matt Jackson, and Nick Jackson), Eddie Kingston, and Tomohiro Ishii took place at AEW/NJPW Forbidden Door 2023. Here are the highlights…

* The BCC made their entrance to Moxley’s NJPW theme song.

* Eddie wanted to start the match with Claudio but Claudio quickly tagged out. Takeshita and Ishii tagged in and traded blows until the two ended up knocking each other down with tackles.

* Moxley and Eddie tagged in and the crowd gave them a standing ovation. The two exchanged chops as the crowd until everyone else got in the ring and brawled. The Bucks delivered dives to the outside and Page hit a moonsault as well. Back in the ring, Moxley and Eddie continued chopping each other but then Claudio took a cheap shot. Moxley and Eddie took each other down with clotheslines and then both tagged out.

* The Elite built up some momentum but then Takeshita gave both Bucks a German suplex. The Bucks recovered and went for a superkick to Moxley but Kingston pushed Moxley out of the way and took the blow. Moxley later gave Kingston a cutter despite the earlier save.

* The match continued to go back and forth and the fans started a “fight forever” chant. Ishii eventually pinned Yuta with the brainbuster.

* After the match, Kingston argued with The Elite despite their victory.
