Becky Lynch (c) vs. Lyra Valkyria for the women’s Intercontinental title in a NoDQ match took place at the WWE SummerSlam Sunday 2025 PLE. Here are the highlights…

Becky Lynch made her entrance with new music by The Wonder Years.

The two quickly began brawling outside the ring. Becky grabbed a kendo stick, but Lyra countered with a crowbar. Becky then used a chair against Lyra and sent her into the steel steps. She continued to build momentum with repeated kendo stick and chair attacks. Becky hit Lyra with a tool box, but Lyra kicked out. Becky used a zip tie to restrain Lyra, then attacked her with a wrench, but Lyra still managed to kick out. Becky hung Lyra up against the ring post and continued attacking her with a kendo stick.

Lyra managed to fight back by getting her arms around Becky and headbutting her. Despite her hands still being restrained, she delivered a moonsault to Becky. Lyra then used a fire extinguisher and finally freed herself from the zip tie under the ring. Outside the ring, Lyra hit Becky with the Nightwing from the steel steps onto the floor.

Back in the ring, Lyra was sent into an exposed turnbuckle, and Becky hit her with a Manhandle Slam onto two chairs — but Lyra still managed to kick out. After the fight spilled back to the outside, Becky wrapped a chair around Lyra and stomped on it. She then grabbed the crowbar, but Bayley stepped in and took it away. Becky told Bayley to hit Lyra with the crowbar, but Bayley refused and attacked Becky instead.

Becky fought off Bayley, but Lyra put her through a table. Back in the ring, Bayley swung at Becky but missed and accidentally hit Lyra. Becky then pinned Lyra following the Manhandle Slam.
