Results of Adam Page vs. MJF at AEW Forbidden Door 2025

“Hangman” Adam Page vs. MJF for the AEW world title took place at AEW Forbidden Door 2025. Per the stipulation, MJF would become the world champion in a disqualification or count-out. Here are the highlights…

MJF played mind games, trying to avoid Page. He attempted a cheap shot, but Page countered. An angry Page attacked MJF in the corner and nearly ignored the referee’s count. Page continued punishing MJF on the outside and considered using a chair, but the referee convinced him not to.

Page delivered his signature moonsault on the outside onto MJF. Back in the ring, Page continued building momentum, but MJF managed to avoid the Buckshot Lariat. MJF set up the timekeeper’s table by the ring apron, but Page ended up driving MJF through it with the Deadeye. MJF regained the advantage and delivered a piledriver to Page on the broken table. Page barely managed to beat the ten-count.

Back in the ring, MJF was busted open after being sent into the exposed turnbuckle, and the crowd chanted, “You deserve it!” After reversing numerous pin attempts, Page delivered the Deadeye, earning a standing ovation from the fans.

Page went for another Buckshot Lariat, but MJF placed the referee in front of him. The referee was inadvertently knocked down, and MJF hit the Heetseeker. The referee counted three, not noticing Page’s foot on the rope. Mark Briscoe came out to alert the referee but was stopped by security. The referee then saw Page’s foot on the rope, and the match continued. MJF used his contract as a weapon while the referee wasn’t looking, but Page kicked out.

MJF attempted to use his Dynamite Diamond Ring but was stopped by the referee. As the referee removed the ring, Page struck MJF with the contract. He then hit the Deadeye followed by the Buckshot Lariat to score the victory.
