Results from the Tailgate Brawl at AEW Full Gear 2025 including match that continues into the PPV

The Tailgate Brawl took place before the 2025 AEW WrestleDream PPV event. Here are the results…

Max Caster and Anthony Bowens vs. Bang Bang Gang (Austin Gunn and Juice Robinson) vs. Big Bill and Bryan Keith vs. The Outrunners (Truth Magnum and Turbo Floyd) was the first match, with the winning team receiving $200,000. Juice rolled up Bowens to secure the victory, and Bowens yelled at Caster out of frustration.

The second match was Boom & Doom (“Big Boom!” A.J. and Q.T. Marshall) (with Big Justice and The Rizzler) vs. RPG Vice (Rocky Romero and Trent Beretta), with Paul Wight on commentary. Outside the ring, Big Justice was shoved by Trent, which led to Wight leaving the desk. Big Justice prevented Romero from using his cast and gave him a diamond cutter. Wight punched out Trent while the referee wasn’t looking. A.J. and Marshall then pinned Trent with a Doomsday Blockbuster.

Hook and Eddie Kingston vs. the WorkHorsemen (Anthony Henry and JD Drake) was the third match. Despite the WorkHorsemen jumping Hook and Eddie during the entrances, Hook and Eddie were able to regroup and win the match in quick fashion.

The final match was El Sky Team (Mistico, Mascara Dorada, and Neon) (c) vs. The Don Callis Family (Kazuchika Okada, Konosuke Takeshita, and Hechicero). Okada did not appear at the start of the match due to what were claimed to be travel issues. Before the match officially started, Hechicero used a chair to snap Mistico’s arm to even the odds.

The PPV started with the match already in progress as the pyro went off. Okada finally showed up with his full entrance. Hechicero tried to get Okada and Takeshita on the same page. Mistico eventually returned with his arm taped up.

Okada and Takeshita tried to work together, but Okada accidentally hit Takeshita with the Rainmaker. Mistico then tapped out Hechicero to win the match for his team.
