Report: WWE and AJ Styles have come to terms on a new deal following his in-ring retirement

As seen during the February 23rd 2026 edition of WWE RAW, The Undertaker announced that AJ Styles will be inducted into the 2026 WWE Hall of Fame. This led to internet speculation that Styles will be staying with WWE in some capacity.

According to PWInsider.com, multiple sources have confirmed that WWE and Styles have come to terms on a new deal that will keep him officially with the company. The belief among those spoken with is he will be helping with the development of new stars.

While appearing on the Talk’n Shop podcast, Styles stated the following…

“I have these dreams and aspirations of helping out the younger talent and helping them get ready. If somebody’s not ready once they get there, it’s my job to hopefully help them get to that point where they can do well and they’re confident when they step into a WWE ring—that they have the ability and the talent.”
