Report: What was originally planned for Penta’s match with Solo Sikoa match on WWE RAW

As seen during the November 24th 2025 edition of WWE RAW, Penta’s “The Last Time Is Now” tournament match against Solo Sikoa was stopped early due to Penta suffering an injury.

Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline.com reported that “Solo Sikoa was scheduled to beat Penta, so nothing changed in the tournament.” Alvarez noted that once the injury became apparent, Wade Barrett sent the show to a commercial break while Joe Tessitore received updates. The match had originally been planned to run about twelve minutes but was called off after four.

Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com commented on being surprised by the news…

“I actually found out that he [Penta] was not going to win. Solo was going to win, and they were going to do Gunther and Solo. I thought when that happened, I go, ‘Oh my god,’ because I was sure Penta was going to win the match.” (quote courtesy of Cultaholic.com)
