Report: The Rock ruled out of having a match at WWE WrestleMania 42
In regards to speculation about Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson potentially having a match at WWE WrestleMania 42, media personality Andrew Baydala noted the following via Twitter/X…
“Before these ‘rumors’ get wild again- The Rock is NOT wrestling at this year’s WrestleMania. The ‘big offer’ under discussion is for next year’s Mania 43 in Saudi Arabia, and there appears to be hesitation about proceeding, given that The Rock knows it would most likely be his last match.”
In September of 2025, Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com noted the following about The Rock possibly getting in the ring at WrestleMania 43…
“Those in Saudi Arabia close to the General Entertainment Authority, headed by Alalshikh, confirmed this week that the show is official and they claimed negotiations for Dwayne Johnson were advancing and they believed the deal was close to being finalized.”
