Report: “Road Dogg” Brian James no longer working for WWE

WWE is said to be currently undergoing some shakeups within its creative department and writing team with sources indicating to BodySlam.net that “Road Dogg” Brian James has departed the company. Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com confirmed the news and noted that “the word making the rounds is that he made the decision to leave his position on the company’s creative team.”

James, in his latest stint with WWE, had been with the company since 2014 and served as the co-lead writer for SmackDown over the past year. James was previously part of the creative team in 2017.

In other WWE creative team news, Alexandra Williams wrote in a post via LinkedIn that she has been promoted to Vice President/Lead Writer for WWE RAW ahead of WrestleMania 42.
