Report: People within WWE “strongly dislike” Smackdown’s three-hour format
During Sportskeeda.com’s WrestleVotes Radio, the following was stated in regards to WWE Smackdown’s current three-hour format…
“We are told several within the company strongly dislike the three-hour SmackDown format, as those sources feel like the quality of the show has dipped in the last two months. Prior to the expansion, there was optimism and belief that some underutilized talent would be able to shine, considering the extra hour. However, that has not come to fruition as of yet. SmackDown is still scheduled to return to two hours come this June.” (quote courtesy of WrestlingNews.co)
Earlier this month, it was reported that WWE Hall of Famer “Road Dogg” Brian James has been named as the new co-lead writer for the Smackdown brand after previous being part of the creative team in 2017.
Sources state Jade Cargill has been cleared for action—expect her return imminently. The payoff to ‘who done it’ is coming…
