Report on why Becky Lynch didn’t return to WWE television at Netflix’s premiere of RAW

Despite being rumored for the Netflix premiere of WWE RAW, Becky Lynch did not make an appearance. According to a report on BodySlam.net, the initial word was that Becky had been scheduled for the broadcast. However, Fightful.com noted that there weren’t actually plans for Becky to be on the first Netflix RAW and she wasn’t even backstage at the event.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com also stated the following…

“Becky Lynch was not there and was not factored into creative for the show. There are a lot of names, including Becky, who will be returning in future weeks and WWE wants to make the most out of maximizing those moments and introducing those characters to the Netflix crowd.”

Leading up to the Netflix premiere of RAW, Triple H addressed not wanting to put too many people on one show

“I’ve had the same conversation with 100 people about this first episode of Netflix, like guys, it’s one show. It’s one show. We’re gonna try to touch on a lot of people, but there’s only so much real estate within the show. If you’re not gonna be on that show, maybe you’ll be on the second one. Maybe you’ll be on the third one. You’re gonna be on these shows, but we can’t put all 200 talent or whatever we have on one show. It’s just not gonna work.”

Meanwhile, Becky revealed via Instagram that she has a small role in Adam Sandler’s Happy Gilmore sequel.
