Report on Trish Stratus’ status with WWE heading into Wrestlemania 39

As seen during the February 6th 2023 edition of WWE RAW, Hall of Famer Lita made her return to television by helping out Becky Lynch. This led to a rumor that Becky, Lita, and Trish Stratus were going to team up against Damage CTRL at the 2023 Elimination Chamber PLE.

However, Lita did not appear on the February 13th edition of RAW and there was no tease of a six-woman match. According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com, Trish had been scheduled for the 2/13 RAW at one point but it was possibly canceled due to a Dakota Kai injury. Meltzer added that the Trish angle “isn’t dead” and “is still expected to be revisited at some point.” At this time, Kai and Iyo Sky defending the women’s tag team titles against Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler is “still on” for Wrestlemania 39. It’s unknown if WWE will try to have Kai and Sky wrestle twice at Wrestlemania.

As previously noted, Bayley vented on social media about not having a match a Wrestlemania match two years in a row.
