Report: Hulk Hogan died of a heart attack and also had a history of leukemia CLL
It was reported by TMZ.com last Thursday that WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan (Terry Bollea) passed away at the age of 71. In an update on Hogan’s death, pagesix.com is reporting that Hogan died of from acute myocardial infarction — commonly known as a heart attack.
The site also noted the following…
“The documents obtained by Page Six also show Hogan had a history of atrial fibrillation (AFib), which is a heart condition characterized by an irregular and often rapid heart rate. Per the records, the former WWE superstar also had a history of leukemia CLL, a type of cancer that affects white blood cells called lymphocytes.”
According to the Pinellas County Forensic Science Center, Hogan’s manner of death was ruled natural. A spokesperson for the medical examiner’s office told the site, “I am not aware when Mr. Bollea will be cremated, only that we received a request for cremation approval.”
