Report: There are people in WWE that have “no interest” in bringing back Brock Lesnar despite renewed speculation
In the summer of 2024, Paul “Triple H” Levesque said that WWE is open to having a conversation with Brock Lesnar when he “decides” he wants to return. This week, speculation about Lesnar potentially returning to WWE has been renewed.
During the October 14th 2024 edition of RAW, both WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins seemingly made references to Lesnar by talking about how they have “slayed beasts” in the past. While speaking on WrestleVotes Radio from Sportskeeda.com’s Backstage Pass Patreon, Bill Apter and @WrestleVotes commented on if the references meant anything…
Apter said, “I can’t tell you definitely yes, but my inside people in WWE have told me they’re talking. That’s the most I know.” WrestleVotes responded, “I’ll give you a short answer: Yes.” (quote courtesy of WrestlingNews.co)
Twitter/X account @WRKDWrestling noted the following about the Lesnar speculation…
“Despite news of a potential return, there are people in WWE that have no interest in bringing Brock Lesnar back due to the allegations made against him in the [Vince] McMahon lawsuit. Both WWE & TKO have worked hard to distance themselves from anything that could relate to the lawsuit.”
