References to AEW and Vince McMahon made during the December 30th 2024 edition of WWE RAW

In the final segment of WWE RAW on December 30th 2024, there was a verbal confrontation between Seth Rollins and CM Punk to hype up their match for Netflix’s RAW premiere next week.

At one point, Rollins referenced Punk’s run in AEW. Rollins asked Punk, “You took a big chunk of change to go join the competition, how did that work out for ya?”

While addressing his WWE departure in 2014, Punk indirectly referenced former WWE owner Vince McMahon. Punk told Rollins, “I loved the place I worked, I just hated the guy in charge, and he LOVED you!”
