Potential spoiler regarding an injured WWE star returning prior to Money in the Bank 2023

Tommaso Ciampa hasn’t wrestled in WWE since September of 2022 and revealed in October that he was out of action due to hip surgery.

In a potential spoiler regarding Ciampa’s return to the RAW brand, Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com noted that Ciampa is in Albany, NY today ahead of tonight’s edition of Monday Night RAW. This doesn’t guarantee that Ciampa will appear on the show but it could indicate that his return to television is imminent leading up to the 2023 Money in the Bank PLE.

Twitter account Boozer aka Better Wrestling Experience #BWE, which has been leaking plans for WWE television in recent weeks, noted that Ciampa could end up reuniting with Johnny Gargano and there was already a tease during the May 8th edition of RAW. The account wrote that Ciampa is “being reviewed for clear” and could end up teaming up with Gargano against Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens at Summerslam.
