Possible reason why WWE has been pushing Indus Sher on Monday Night RAW

In recent weeks, the Indus Sher tag team of Veer and Sanga (managed by Jinder Mahal) has become a dominant presence on Monday Night RAW. According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, Cedric Alexander being “injured” by Indus Sher during the June 5th 2023 edition of RAW was a planned angle by WWE. In regards to the team’s recent push, Johnson noted that “the company wants Indus Sher positioned strongly as they build towards their return to India with a September live event.”

Twitter account Boozer aka Better Wrestling Experience #BWE, which has been leaking plans for WWE television in recent weeks, wrote that Veer “is being tailored” for a “big future” within the next few years.

The WWE live event in India will reportedly be taking place on September 9th in the city of Hyderabad.
