Plans for Brock Lesnar’s return to television reportedly changed before WWE Money in the Bank

As seen during the 2023 WWE Money in the Bank PLE, John Cena and Drew McIntyre made surprise appearances but Brock Lesnar did not appear on the show despite rumors. In regards to why Lesnar did not appear, Twitter account @WKRDWrestling noted the following…

“Plans had changed before Money In The Bank, with McIntyre and Cena returning, the thought process was that Brock’s return would be diminished after multiple other surprises in the evening. Brock has instead returned on #WWERaw.”

Lesnar appeared on the July 3rd edition of RAW and got into a physical confrontation with Cody Rhodes. The two are expected to have a match at Summerslam.
