Pat McAfee asks if Cody Rhodes was going to “suck Triple H’s ass” during WWE SmackDown

As seen during the April 10th 2026 edition of WWE SmackDown, Pat McAfee was involved in a promo segment with Cody Rhodes. After Cody told Pat to “go home,” McAfee said the following to Cody:

“Where you going, Cody? Hey, Cody, you’ve always been an elite runaway artist, huh? Stardust? Where you going, Cody? You going to suck Triple H’s ass? A little more opportunity, politics—a little bit, you politician bum Come on, Cody. Come back and dance a little bit for the stupid kid over here.”

It was then revealed that Randy Orton had attacked Jelly Roll backstage. While McAfee distracted Cody, Orton took a cheap shot at him. Cody tried to fight back but was outnumbered. The segment ended with McAfee holding up the WWE Championship and placing it on his shoulder.
