Orlando, FL could be hosting major WWE events in the future including WrestleMania and Royal Rumble
According to a report from the Orlando Business Journal, the Greater Orlando Sports Commission is looking to bring both WWE and UFC events to the area in the coming years through an $18 million grant proposal targeting the two organizations. The bid includes the following events…
* A WWE Survivor Series or Saturday Night’s Main Event scheduled for November or December 2026 at the Kia Center.
* A UFC pay-per-view event slated for August or September 2027 at the Kia Center.
* A WWE Royal Rumble event planned for February 2028 at Camping World Stadium.
* A two-night WWE WrestleMania event set for mid-to-late April 2031, with Camping World Stadium as the primary venue and additional events at the Kia Center, including RAW and SmackDown shows during WrestleMania week.
The proposal has been approved by the Tourist Development Tax Sports Incentive Committee and is now awaiting final approval from Orange County. The report estimates that these events could draw a combined 300,000 visitors, generate 120,000 hotel room nights, and contribute over $225 million to the local economy.
