Oba Femi wins the WWE NXT world title from Ricky Saints at Deadline 2025

As seen during the 2025 WWE NXT Deadline PLE, Ricky Starks defended the NXT World Title against Oba Femi.

After giving Femi a tornado DDT on the steel steps, Starks delivered another one in the ring, but Femi kicked out. Femi came back with the Fall From Grace powerbomb, but Starks kicked out. Femi then delivered a sit-down Fall From Grace powerbomb to become the new champion.

The two men shook hands after the match. With his victory, Femi will face Cody Rhodes at WWE Saturday Night’s Main event on December 13th.
