Oba Femi wins the WWE NXT title at New Year’s Evil 2025
As seen during the January 7th 2025 “New Year’s Evil” edition of WWE NXT, Trick Williams defended the NXT title against Oba Femi and Eddy Thorpe. After Williams got hit with a steel chair by Thorpe, Femi was able to pin Williams with a powerbomb.
After the match, Femi celebrated on the stage alongside the new NXT women’s champion Giulia as pyro went off.
