NXT star reportedly being considered for main roster call-up during the 2023 WWE Draft

WWE NXT star Tyler Bate had a match against Dolph Ziggler for Main Event that was taped on April 10th 2023. The match apparently generated a positive backstage reaction and Twitter account @WRKDWrestling noted the following…

“After a well received match on Main Event against Dolph Ziggler, NXT’s Tyler Bate has been mentioned internally as a potential call up during the upcoming WWE draft.”

Bate, who is now 26 years old, first joined the WWE United Kingdom brand in 2016. Bate’s Main Event match against Ziggler received a “this is awesome” chant from the crowd and one video clip of the match has over a million views on Twitter.
