NXT champion Carmelo Hayes makes appearance on the 6/26/23 edition of WWE RAW

During the June 26th 2023 edition of WWE RAW, world heavyweight champion Seth Rollins cut a promo in the ring. NXT champion Carmelo Hayes was at ringside and Rollins gave him a shout-out. Rollins thanked Carmelo for having his back when Rollins wrestled on NXT.

Finn Balor ended up attacking Rollins and there was a brawl. Balor tried to grab a steel chair but Carmelo took it away. Rollins then chased off Balor with the chair.

Carmelo vs. Balor took place later in the show. It was a competitive match that Balor ended up winning with the coup de grace.
