News regarding Stephanie Vaquer’s status with WWE following injury angle on RAW

As seen during the January 5th 2026 edition of WWE RAW, women’s world champion Stephanie Vaquer cut a promo while wearing a walking boot. Vaquer was later attacked by Raquel Rodriguez, both in the ring and during a backstage segment.

The angle was seemingly done to write Vaquer off television for the time being. According to PWInsider.com, Vaquer is legitimately injured but not to the extent that she will need to take an extended break or vacate her title.
