News regarding Shayna Baszler’s WWE status following cameo appearance on NXT
During the September 16th 2025 edition of WWE NXT, former WWE star Shayna Baszler made a cameo appearance in a backstage segment. In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com noted the following about Shayna’s future…
“Regarding Baszler, those in the company said that they expect and hopes she take a coaching or producing position. At this point, nothing is in place and it was just a one-off thing this week.”
Shayna, who is now a free agent, recently expressed interest in working for AEW.
