News regarding Rhea Ripley’s absence from the September 18th 2023 edition of WWE RAW

After being attacked by Nia Jax, WWE women’s world champion Rhea Ripley did not appear on the September 18th 2023 edition of WWE RAW. Rhea was absent from the show to sell the beatdown from Nia but is expected back soon. In storyline, Michael Cole said on commentary that Rhea had a “bruised rib” courtesy of Nia’s attack.

Rhea and her fiancee, AEW star Buddy Matthews, have been in Australia and attended an Australian Football League game. Both were briefly spotted in a video published by @7AFL. It’s also speculated that Rhea is in Australia to do local media interviews as WWE is expected to announce a stadium event in Perth.
