News regarding Piper Niven not being medically cleared to wrestle on WWE RAW

As seen during the September 4th 2023 edition of WWE RAW, there was a backstage segment with official Adam Pearce and co-holder of the women’s tag team titles Chelsea Green. Pearce stated that Chelsea’s partner Piper Niven was not medically cleared to wrestle.

Fightful Select received news about why Piper wasn’t able to appear on RAW…

“Word backstage is Piper Niven was dealing with a short term illness and would hopefully be back in a week or two if all goes well. And no plans to vacate the Tag-Titles or move them off of Niven.”

Chelsea ended up being squashed in a quick match by Raquel.
