News regarding Mercedes Mone’s contract with NJPW/Stardom
According to a report by Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com, Mercedes Mone and Bushiroad have agreed to an extension on her current NJPW/Stardom contract. The news broke just hours before Mercedes’ IWGP Women’s title defense against Mayu Iwatani at the Stardom All Star Grand Queendom event. While the length of the contract extension is unknown, Meltzer noted that Mercedes’ next match is believed to be taking place at an event in the United States.
During a Q&A on her Twitter account, a fan asked how long Mercedes plans to stay in Japan and she replied with “Forever.” Mercedes wrote to another fan that she intends to do wrestling, acting, modeling, “and more.”
