News regarding Jay White’s absence from AEW television since March of 2025

AEW star Jay White has not wrestled since the March 29th 2025 edition of Collision. It was reported by Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com that White potentially suffered a broken hand.

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, White could be out of action longer than anticipated. Sapp noted the following…

“Those that we’ve spoken to claim that Jay White had also been dealing with a shoulder injury. Sources in the company have said that White had been weighing whether or not to get shoulder surgery, though we haven’t heard if that decision was made. If so, it’s possible he’d miss the rest of the year.”

Members of White’s Bang Bang Gang faction have been plagued with injuries in recent months. Juice Robinson just returned at the 2025 All In: Texas PPV while Colten Gunn was reportedly hurt during the July 17th taping of AEW Collision. Robinson teamed up with Colten’s brother Austin at the July 26th Collision to advance in AEW’s ongoing tag team tournament.
