News regarding “Hangman” Adam Page’s status with AEW following his loss to MJF at Revolution 2026

As seen during the 2026 AEW Revolution PPV event, “Hangman” Adam Page lost a Texas Death match to world champion MJF. Per the stipulation, Page can never challenge for the AEW world title again.

According to Fightful.com, the current plan is for Page to take time off from AEW programming. It’s not yet known if the break will begin right away or if he’ll still appear on Dynamite in the coming weeks. The length of his hiatus is also unclear.

When asked if Page’s AEW contract expires in the summer of 2026, Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com noted that it actually “goes a lot longer than that.”
