News regarding Finn Balor’s future with WWE following reports of his contract being set to expire
In January of 2024, it was reported that Finn Balor’s WWE contract was set to expire sometime after Wrestlemania 40. Just prior to the April 22nd edition of WWE RAW, Finn Balor wrote the following message via Twitter/X…
“I would like to take this moment to say thank you to WWE for 10 incredible years. And after much thought and consideration, I have decided that now is the right time to say ‘I ain’t going nowhere!’”
In regards to Balor’s post, Fightful Select noted the following…
“Fightful had heard Monday that Balor was expected to stay with WWE, and was expected to sign a long-term contract extension with the company, if he’d not already. Balor’s deal was set to be up within the next couple of months.”
It was added that WWE had been looking to sign Balor to a multi-year, “big money offer” as promotions such as AEW were reportedly interested in him if he became a free agent.
