News regarding Drew McIntyre posting a photo of himself with AEW’s Jack Perry but then deleting it
During the April 10th 2024 edition of AEW Dynamite, The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson & Nicholas Jackson) presented backstage footage of CM Punk’s backstage altercation with Jack Perry from AEW All In 2023. The footage, which contained no audio, showed Punk approaching Perry and the two had words for several seconds. Punk attacked Perry and things were quickly broken up.
To hype up his feud with Punk, McIntyre shared a photo of himself with Perry via Twitter/X with the caption “it’s a real photo, cry us a river” but then deleted it a short time later. McIntyre did not comment on why he deleted the photo.
Twitter account @WRKDWrestling noted the following about the matter…
“While Drew McIntyre deleted his photo with Jack Perry, there is zero concern of any backstage heat. McIntyre and CM Punk are working closely to craft their feud and all references to past AEW or backstage issues have been given the green light by Punk ahead of time.”
