News regarding Chris Jericho’s status with AEW following his ROH world title loss to Bandido
As seen during the 2025 AEW Dynasty PPV event, Chris Jericho lost the ROH title to Bandido. On the April 9th 2025 edition of AEW Dynamite, Jericho walked out on Big Bill and Bryan Keith.
The belief is that Jericho will be taking time off from AEW to tour with his band Fozzy although several Wednesday nights have been left open on his schedule. Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com noted the following about Jericho’s status…
“When this tour was set up, the idea is he’s be in for Dynamite. However, he’s feeling it’s the right time for a break and there’s no time frame known or that likely will be talked about until a ‘surprise’ return.”
