News regarding Brian Cage’s future with AEW after joining up with Swerve Strickland

As seen during the April 7th 2023 edition of AEW Rampage, Brian Cage and The Embassy have merged with Swerve Strickland’s Mogul Affiliates.

In January of 2023, it was reported that Cage’s AEW contract was coming close to its expiration date. According to Fightful Select, Cage has signed a multi-year deal to stay with AEW. Fightful noted the following…

“We’re told that several top talent had pushed for Cage to re-sign, but there were also top talent in WWE who were angling for him to end up there. We’re told WWE had some interest in Cage, but he ended up liking the offer made by AEW. Cage worked with an agent throughout the process.”

The Embassay currently hold the ROH six man tag team titles.
