New women’s tag team champions crowned on the August 29th 2022 edition of WWE RAW

In the main event of WWE RAW on August 29th 2022, Dakota Kai and Io Sky faced Raquel & Aliyah in the finals of a tournament to crown new women’s tag team champions. Aliyah was taken out of the match after she was thrown into the steel steps. After Bayley was chased away by Bianca Belair/Asuka/Alexa Bliss, Aliyah tagged herself back in when Kai and Sky were distracted. Aliyah then scored the pinfall victory with a rollup. There was a celebration after the match with pyro going off.
