New report regarding how much money WWE actually made from WrestleMania 41
According to Pollstar data obtained by Brandon Thurston of PostWrestling.com, WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas set a new all-time pro wrestling record with $66,074,558 in combined ticket sales for its two nights at Allegiant Stadium. While individual night figures weren’t provided, an even split would put each show at roughly $33 million — far exceeding any previous wrestling event, even when adjusted for inflation.
The April 19th and 20th shows sold 113,412 tickets in total. However, stadium-reported attendance was higher — 58,538 on Saturday and 60,103 on Sunday (118,641 combined) — suggesting the official attendance count included more than just tickets sold.
WWE’s record-setting live event revenue reflects a broader strategy by WWE and its parent company, TKO Group Holdings, to raise ticket prices to levels comparable with major concerts and UFC events. The average ticket price for last year’s WrestleMania was about $635, nearly double the Philadelphia event (WrestleMania 40), which had itself roughly doubled the 2023 show in Inglewood (WrestleMania 39).
In addition to $66 million in ticket sales (likely excluding vendor fees), WWE received a $5 million site fee from the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority and qualified for $4.2 million in Nevada film tax credits, bringing total public incentives to approximately $9.2 million.
Record-breaking gates naturally coincide with record-breakingly high ticket prices.
The average ticket for WM41 was about $635, ~2x the prior year, which 2x'ed the year before that.
