New report regarding how many people actually attended AEW’s All In: Texas PPV event

Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics.com reported that AEW’s All In: Texas event at Globe Life Field qualified for public funding through the Texas Event Trust Fund, but the promotion will receive less than the $1.08 million originally approved because actual attendance was significantly lower than projected. The initial estimate was 33,490 attendees (32,500 spectators), but certified attendance was 23,759 total, including 21,973 spectators — about 29% below projections. As a result, AEW’s reimbursement will be reduced proportionally, likely to around $700,000.

After the show, AEW President Tony Khan cited an attendance figure “close to 29,000,” aligning more with WrestleTix’s 27,245 distributed tickets than the scanned total. Despite lower turnout, the event reportedly generated a gate of over $2.5 million, and city officials said they were pleased with its economic impact.

It was also noted that AEW also wanted arbitration and confidentiality clauses with city-owned Esports Stadium to “not to publish or disclose attendance figures, turnstile counts, drop counts, ticket numbers, revenues, box office receipts.”
