New cruiserweight champion crowned on the September 21st 2021 edition of WWE NXT

Roderick Strong defeated Kushida on the September 21st 2021 edition of WWE NXT to capture the cruiserweight title. Kushida had the hoverboard lock on but Malcom Bivens put Strong’s foot on the rope. Bivens then distracted the referee and the Diamond Mine interfered.

After Strong picked up the wine, Grayson Waller challenged Strong to a match on next week’s show and the challenge was accepted.
