There were multiple changes were made to the September 18th 2023 edition of WWE RAW. The advertised New Day vs. Viking Raiders two out of three falls match was changed to Kofi Kingston vs. Ivar due to Erik not being cleared.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com noted that Natalya was originally set to face Xia Li on WWE Main Event and Tegan Nox was slated to challenge Becky Lynch for the WWE NXT women’s title. However, WWE made a decision late in the day to put Natalya in the spot against Becky instead.

Johnson noted that Ricochet vs. Shinsuke Nakamura “was originally slated to follow the Cody Rhodes vs. Dominik Mysterio bout but the decision was made to push it back in order to push more starpower to later segments as Seth Rollins would be involved.”
