MJF calls out TNA President Carlos Silva after scheduled match with Nic Nemeth is canceled
The planned match between AEW World Champion MJF and TNA’s Nic Nemeth has been canceled. The bout, which had been promoted for a May 1st 2026 Create A Pro Wrestling event in New York, was called off after TNA decided to pull some of its talent from independent shows.
Other matches have also been canceled including Ricochet vs. Leon Slater. TNA President Carlos Silva cited “partner conflicts” as the reason for withdrawing talent and Fightful.com noted that MJF was also scheduled to face Bear Bronson at Game Changer Wrestling in March but it was “blocked” by TNA.
Via Create A Pro Wrestling, MJF will now issue an open challenge and Nemeth will face Bear Bronson. MJF called out Silva with the following post via Twitter/X…
“Welp. Nic Nemeth and TNA are afraid of the AEW World Champion. Shame old, Carlos doesn’t care about the fans or his roster getting paid. I’ll still be there @CreateAPro. Let’s see if Nicky still has the balls to show up to Long Island.”
