Mercedes Mone addresses her status with AEW amid hiatus since the end of 2025

Mercedes Mone hasn’t wrestled on AEW television since losing the TBS championship to Willow Nightingale at the end of 2025. While speaking to Wrestling Time on Italian TV station IL61, Mercedes provided an update on her status…

“I’m returning [to AEW] really, really soon. But right now, I am on my Mone Madness Tour all over Europe. First, it started in Mexico, now here in Italy, next stop is Paris, then London, then Poland, then Winnipeg. After that, Mama is gonna return home.”

The reference to Winnipeg is notable, as Mone is scheduled to defend the WPW Women’s Championship at WPW Fight at the Museum on Tuesday, March 31st, with AEW Dynamite set to take place in Winnipeg the following night.

As of now, Mone still holds five independent titles, though she has been in the midst of losing the ones she held throughout this tour.
