Matt Hardy comments on the rising ticket prices for WWE events

This past week, TKO Group Holdings President Mark Shapiro noted that WWE is not where the UFC yet is on ticket yield.” While speaking on his podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Matt Hardy commented on the rising ticket prices for WWE events…

“WWE, for what it’s worth, they’re hot right now too. They’re white hot. And they are selling out events, and as of right now, these current prices that they’re trying to maximize and optimize the money that they’re going to make in ticket sales and everything else when they come to the town. They put bids out to bring a WWE event to your territory.

Right now they seem to be sustainable. And as you said, the question is, how long is that going to last? Does that change, and then they have to alter things, they have to change things. I mean, I feel like as long as they’re able to sell these events out and they’re able to optimize and maximize the amount of profit they make every time they go to the town, they’re gonna, they’re gonna continue to do it.” (quote courtesy of 411Mania.com)
