Match was nearly pulled from the 7/10/23 edition of WWE RAW due to an injury

Leading into the 2023 WWE Summerslam PLE, Becky Lynch was scheduled to have a match against Zoey Stark on the July 10th 2023 edition of RAW. However, the match preview was pulled from WWE’s website and Twitter account @WRKDWrestling noted the following…

“Becky Lynch has suffered an injury and is currently waiting to be cleared. As a result, Becky Lynch vs. Zoey Stark will not be taking place on #WWERaw.”

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com added that “the injury isn’t major, and the match could end up being added back to the show or moved.” WWE ended up advertising the match again shortly before RAW went on the air.

Becky vs. Trish Stratus is one of the matches rumored for Summerslam.
