Match ended prematurely on AEW Collision due to an injury

As seen during the July 20th 2024 edition of AEW Collision, Hikaru Shida had a match against Skye Blue. The match was ended prematurely after Shida hit a springboard crossbody to Skye on the outside of the ring. Skye was immediately checked by doctors and the referee.

AEW President Tony Khan wrote the following about the situation…

“Shida was declared the winner, due to an ankle injury to Skye Blue. Skye Blue is being evaluated now by the Doctors; we’re all wishing her the very best.”
