Major technical issue occurs during AEW Battle of the Belts VII event

At the AEW Battle of the Belts VII event on Saturday night, Toni Storm defended the AEW women’s title against Taya Valkyrie. However, the TNT feed cut out in the middle of the match due to an apparent thunderstorm. There was a commercial break and then footage was shown from Julia Hart’s match on last week’s Collision. The broadcast cut back to the announcers as they confirmed that the feed went out due to weather but it wasn’t said how the women’s title match ended.

It was later stated that Storm retained her title and footage was shown of Storm winning with help from Ruby Soho. The match can be seen on demand as part of the full show on the TNT app.
