“Major” change reportedly happening behind the scenes for WWE announcers

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, what is being called a “major” change is happening behind the scenes for WWE announcers. Johnson gave the following details about the matter…

“Michael Cole had held that lead management position for a long time, but PWInsider.com has learned Cole has pulled back from those responsibilities in order to concentrate fully on his work on camera as the lead voice on WWE’s Monday Night RAW and PPV events. We are told that this was a Cole decision and one the company had no issue with.”

Johnson added that Sue Cundaro, who has been working with Cole backstage, is believed to be taking over his former responsibilities and will be overseeing the WWE announce team moving forward.
